Happy to say that it’s full steam ahead even though the weather since the great start to the season hasn’t been particularly kind. We have gathered another mass of sidescan data and in the last month have found yet another cannon site on the Chesil. Not to be out done the east side of Portland has now produced a couple of sites for us in the shape of two small wrecks, one site containing four cannon. Jason and Simon Brown have captured a number of fantastic images some of which I will be showing during the coming winter talk programme. Back into deeper water over the next couple of weeks and I am looking forward to a trip to Guernsey where we will be based as we explore some of the wrecks off the Brittany Coast.
